Relevanssi is created by Mikko Saari, a Finnish WordPress professional, and owned and sold by Painava sana oy.

I’m 31 years old, have a wife and two kids and live in Tampere, Finland.

I have a master’s degree in Information Studies, which gives me a solid theoretical base of search engine design. Doing my own search plugin was thus the obvious solution when I found out that none of the other search plugins did what I needed.

For living I develop affiliate marketing web sites with WordPress and write marketing copy. It’s a lovely job, which I enjoy a lot.

When I’m not working, I’m an avid boardgamer and an amateur photographer.
